Navigating the New Code of Fundraising Practice: Webinar Recording Now Available
In fundraising, staying up to date with the latest regulations and best practice is essential for ensuring ethical and effective fundraising. The Fundraising Regulator began an extensive review of the Code of Fundraising Practice (the ‘Code’) in autumn 2022. Between 2022 and 2025, the Fundraising Regulator carried out a three-stage consultation process, including two public consultations. This process culminated in April 2025 with the launch of the new Code.
Last month, the Scottish Fundraising Adjudication Panel joined with the Fundraising Regulator to hold a webinar about the newly launched Code of Fundraising Practice. At this webinar attendees heard from Conor Gibson from the Fundraising Regulator who shared insights on the new Code and what charities and fundraisers need to do to prepare for the 1st November 2025.

As we are now in the implementation phase, charities should use this time and the guidance provided by the Fundraising Regulator (www.fundraisingregulator.org.uk/code/code-2025) to prepare for the new code before it comes into effect on 1st November 2025.
