The Scottish Fundraising Adjudication Panel (the ‘Panel’) in collaboration with the Fundraising Regulator are pleased to invite you to attend a joint webinar introducing you to the new Code of Fundraising Practice.
Fundraising in Scotland is subject to a system of enhanced self-regulation overseen by the Panel in line with the Code of Fundraising Practice (the ‘Code’). The Code sets out the standards expected of all charitable fundraising organisations across the UK and provides the framework for assessing public complaints.
Between 2022 – 2025, the Fundraising Regulator undertook a review of the Code to ensure it remained up to date, reflected best practice, and continued to meet the needs of an evolving fundraising landscape. Throughout the review the Fundraising Regulator carried out an in-depth consultation with the fundraising sector resulting in the introduction of a new principles-based code.
Through this webinar, you will hear from the Fundraising Regulator about the key changes to the Code and how it differs from the previous version. It will help you understand what you need to do to prepare for the new Code and offers you the opportunity to ask the Regulator your questions about the Code.
